Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates and monitors treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
• Performs prior authorization and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
• Engages with healthcare providers and leadership to improve care quality and efficiency

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field is required
• License to practice independently as outlined by state requirements
• Clinical knowledge of treatment plans for mental health and substance abuse is preferred
• Experience with mental health and substance abuse utilization review processes is preferred
• Experience working with healthcare providers and teams is preferred
