Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Instructor for Advanced Studies in Reading and Literacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Doctorate in a relevant field or a Master's degree in Reading, Literacy, or Curriculum and Instruction with valid state teacher certification
• Minimum of three years of experience as a classroom teacher or related position
• At least six graduate-level credit hours related to reading assessments or equivalent
• Exceptional expertise demonstrated through various criteria such as publications, awards, or leadership experience
• Valid state teacher certification in literacy/reading or elementary/secondary education with an endorsement in literacy/reading
