Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP & Chief Counsel, Mergers and Acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, shaping the company's inorganic growth agenda
• Lead the legal execution of M&A transactions, including negotiations and due diligence
• Build and manage a high-performing M&A legal team and ensure compliance with legal standards

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• Minimum of 15 years of legal experience focused on M&A and corporate transactions
• Experience in leading complex, cross-border transactions in high-growth environments
• Strong business acumen with a delivery-oriented mindset
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization is highly desirable
