State Licensed Legal Counsel - job 1 of 15

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to provide general legal support across various business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements, including NDAs and commercial contracts
• Maintain and manage the customer commercial contracts repository
• Conduct legal research on emerging issues and industry-specific regulations

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in private practice or in-house
• J.D. or LL.B. degree with outstanding academic credentials
• Active and in good standing with at least one State Bar in the United States or Provincial Bar in Canada
• Working knowledge of privacy law and experience negotiating DPAs
• Experience with SaaS, subscription agreements, and technology-related offerings preferred
