Spotify is looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Music Mission engineering organization, specifically the Crescendo squad within the Music Promotion and Spotify for Artists Growth product area. The Music Mission owns Spotify's end-to-end proposition for music creators and the experiences they build for fans. The team is dedicated to building tools and services to enable creation, promotion, expression, and monetization at scale.
This role will be part of an engineering team passionate about crafting the ways we communicate with our customers throughout their journey–both in and outside of the Spotify for Artists experience. More specifically, this team will build platforms and tools to empower product and marketing to reach artists and their teams, connecting them to the powerful industry-facing tools our mission provides to help drive their career on Spotify.
You will join our fast paced, innovative team of engineers who are solving exciting architecture problems around access and authorization and collaborating across teams to develop reliable, scalable solutions that power the Spotify marketplace.
The United States base range for this position is $125,562 - $179,374 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
