We are seeing a Sales Analyst Intern to support Solar Landscape’s Sales Team in building out its reporting and analytics capabilities. This position requires someone who can manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, has strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
During the internship, you will focus on 1-2 projects that the Solar Landscape Sales team has identified as strategic priorities for the year and thoughtfully scoped out to ensure meaningful contributions within the internship timeframe. The Sales Analyst Strategy Intern would collaborate with key Sales stakeholders across our vertically integrated organization – including Finance, Technology, and Operations.
This role is based in our Asbury Park, NJ headquarters with 4 days a week in office required.
Responsibilities- Lead Prioritization: Screen prospective client accounts to inform sales team focus and input into CRM
- Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making
- Data Management: Gather, validate, and input data from various sources into the company’s CRM
- Research: Conduct research on prospective client accounts to inform sales strategy and approach
- Communication: Interface with departments across Solar Landscape (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Legal) on data management practices and reporting
Required Qualifications - Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Data analysis: Ability to analyze sales data and run reports.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in running reports, maintaining records and conducting research

- Teamwork: Capacity to work collaboratively with sales team and other departments
Preferred Qualifications- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science/Studies, or related field.
- Experience: Internship or coursework in renewable energy, project management, or solar development.
- Familiarity with C&I solar development, including community solar programs, utility interconnection ,and rooftop solar construction.
- Experience with solar energy design materials (drawing sets and energy production models).
- Familiarity with solar contract structures (Power Purchase Agreements, EPC, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Experience with CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc.), GIS tools (ArcGIS, Nearmaps), or energy modeling software.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Excel Expert are a plus.
