SOC 2 Assessor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOC 2 Assessor - Part time & Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls against AICPA Trust Services Criteria
• Conduct gap analysis and readiness assessments to identify and document control gaps
• Compile audit results into a detailed SOC 2 Type 2 report and provide remediation recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT security compliance, specifically SOC 2
• Experience in cloud computing security
• Knowledge of security governance and policy
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Military and/or significant industry certifications may substitute for formal education
