We have an exciting new opportunity available to work for our established non profit organization in our outpatient clinic setting located in East Harlem New York right by Lexington Avenue.  As the Adult Nurse Practitioner, you would join a team of physicians, NP’s, and nurses.  Our organization has been around for almost 40 years and we have built relationships with patients throughout all walks of life.  You would be treating mostly adults ages 30-60 years old.  We have an extremely collaborative and integrated care model where all of our staff members feel like a team.  Our outpatient clinic has various treatment services including but not limited to behavioral health, dental care, primary care, women’s health, and internal medicine.  We are ideally seeking someone to work full time 5 days per week Monday through Friday with no weekend or on call required.  Please see job highlights below.

Title:  Adult Nurse Practitioner

Location: East Harlem NY

Compensation: $130,000 to $140,000

Responsibilities:

Seeing patients in outpatient clinic setting and providing medical treatment

Recording medical history for patients and diagnosing symptoms

Prescribing appropriate medication when needed

Performing physicals exams

Administering certain medicine

Consulting with staff members and family members about patients

Reading lab work and explaining results to patients

Documenting notes in EMR System

Requirements:

Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner Masters Degree Program

Active New York ANP license

Preferred Spanish speaking- not required

Strong people skills
