Senior Accounting Analyst

As a full-time Senior Accounting Analyst at SIXT, you’ll be at the heart of our fast-paced operations, ensuring every financial detail aligns to support our growth. In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Group Accounting team and key North American business partners to perform monthly reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and support cross-functional teams including Insurance/Risk Management, HR, Legal, Payroll, Marketing, and Operations. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT   

• You lead efforts to ensure accurate financial reporting and data compilation while coordinating across branches, North American partners, and Shared Services in Germany 

• You assist with accrual preparation across functions like insurance, HR, legal, and marketing, support audits and inventory accounting, and help team members with inquiries on taxonomy, budgets, and invoice coding 

• You manage monthly balance sheet reviews, including accounts receivable and payable, as well as quarterly filings for unclaimed property and related documentation 

• You handle ad-hoc reporting requests and data accuracy checks across multiple financial systems, along with the execution of department and corporate efficiency projects 

• You maintain high standards of accuracy, organization, and dependability in daily accounting functions while ensuring clear communication and strong collaboration across teams to support overall financial operations 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER  

Experience You have over 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a background in car rental operations considered a plus 

Education You have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 

Technical Proficiency You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with SAP and invoice processing software, demonstrating strong computer and systems literacy 

Soft Skills You demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, while communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels 

Commitment to Excellence You are dependable, solution-oriented, and willing to take on multiple responsibilities to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
