The Localization Project Coordinator working with the project management team in the running of projects and provide custodian PM support for APAC languages.

Location : Bangalore
Work Mode : Remote
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Launching and delivering tasks in a timely manner.
- Taking analysis and updating invoice templates.
- Supporting linguists closely by monitoring their progress to ensure they meet the deadline.
- Performing sanity checks to make sure the deliverables meet client’s quality standards.
- Attending internal and client’s meetings and proactively flag any risks and suggest solutions.
- Communicate with client on operational problems in real time, actively proposing solutions where available.
- Securing holiday coverage for APAC languages.
- Taking ownership as a custodian for your assigned languages to offer all round support.
- Running quality program on the assigned languages.
Team Supervision:
- Ensure that the attendance of the assigned staff is accounted for and the correct documentation and files are kept up to date.
- Provide support to direct reports to ensure their working conditions are adequate and liaise with other departments to ensure capacity plans are in place.
- Provide feedback on performance of the staff as required by Management
Other:
- Answers emails swiftly and is clear and concise.
- Adhere to company Security, Confidentiality and Health and Safety procedures and ensure the compliance of the team.
- Develops good relationship with client.
- Adhere to the company IT and HR procedures and ensure the compliance of the team.
- Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure that own behaviour and the behaviour of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Experience in localization, localization QA or software QA, ideally over 3 years
- Experience in the video games or media entertainment industry is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of business software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of CAT tools (memoQ and Phrase is a plus)
- Clear and effective English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrates proactivity
- Ability to develop new ways to improve operations and to create opportunities
- Good organisation and problem-solving skills
- Keeps a “can do” attitude and positive thinking
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Take ownership and full responsibility of assigned tasks
