Partner Marketing Manager

How we'll deliver success:

The Partner Marketing Manager at Shippo will be responsible for driving user acquisition and revenue through various partnership channels. This role will focus on developing, managing, and optimizing our referral and affiliate programs, building relationships with service partners and app integrators, executing co-marketing initiatives, and supporting influencer marketing efforts. You will work cross-functionally to create strategies that leverage partnerships to accelerate Shippo's growth.


Shipping & handling responsibilities:
  • Service Partner & App Integrator Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key service partners and app integrators within the Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and other e-commerce platforms' ecosystems to drive referrals to Shippo.
  • Referral Program Management: Develop, implement, and optimize the referral program strategy to drive user acquisition and revenue growth through customer advocacy.
  • Affiliate Program Leadership: Manage and scale our affiliate marketing program, including partner recruitment, onboarding, relationship management, performance tracking, and optimization.
  • Co-Marketing Program Development: Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners, including content creation, webinars, events, and promotional campaigns that drive mutual value.
  • Influencer Marketing: Lead Influencer Marketing efforts to identify, engage, and manage relationships with relevant influencers in the e-commerce and shipping space.
  • Partner Channel Strategy: Analyze partner marketing channel potential and develop strategies to maximize growth and revenue from existing and new partnership opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on partner marketing program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continued optimization.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or business development with a focus on referral and affiliate programs
  • Partnership Management: Strong track record of building and nurturing successful business relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Program Development: Experience designing, launching, and scaling partner marketing programs that deliver measurable results
  • Analytics: Ability to analyze program performance data, derive insights, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively represent Shippo to external partners
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partnership initiatives simultaneously
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Our people, much like the packages we help ship, are all over the world. This means, through our remote-first program, “Shippos Everywhere”, our roles can be based anywhere in the US with the exception of Delaware, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Hawaii, New Mexico and West Virginia and many roles can be based internationally.
