Senior SLAM Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer - SLAM.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve complex challenges in large-scale mapping and localization using advanced methods and techniques
• Drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions for scalable production maps
• Develop and deploy efficient onboard and offboard software while prioritizing safety in software design

Required Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in shipping production software related to mapping and localization
• Strong C++ software engineering and algorithm skills in a Unix environment
• Deep understanding of SLAM, especially visual and visual-inertial SLAM
• Strong fundamentals in nonlinear optimization and numerical linear algebra
