Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance distributed backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of backend services from design through deployment and maintenance
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed backend services using Python and Django
• Lead and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development experience
• Solid experience with Django and asynchronous programming skills
• Production experience with Apache Kafka
• Strong experience with distributed systems and containerized applications
• Familiarity with cloud providers and proficient with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL
