Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Environment Artist to design immersive environments for horror games.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build realistic, atmospheric environments focusing on immersive interior spaces
• Own full environment scenes from blockout to final polish, ensuring emotional resonance and narrative depth
• Collaborate with various teams to achieve visual targets and gameplay functionality while maintaining high artistic quality

Required Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing mastery in environment set dressing, modeling, and texturing for realistic, horror-inspired spaces
• Solid foundation in art fundamentals including composition, lighting, and color
• Expertise in modular modeling and trimming workflows, with proficiency in industry-standard tools
• Significant experience with Unreal Engine 5, including level building and material setup
• Understanding of horror visual language and how to create discomfort or suspense through environment design
