Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer, Data Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for backend systems and data infrastructure
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using Python or NodeJS
• Lead and manage offshore contractors, including task allocation and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend or system engineering focused on data systems
• Expert proficiency in Python or NodeJS
• Extensive experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience managing or leading other engineers and projects
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and proficiency in SQL
