About the Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven US Growth Lead to spearhead our expansion efforts in the US market. This is a multi-faceted role combining events & community engagement, partnerships & lead generation, US marketing strategy, and assisting sales efforts. As a key player in our US growth strategy, you’ll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Growth Operations teams to drive awareness, generate leads, and establish SeedLegals as the go-to platform for US founders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Events and Community Building
- Develop and execute an engaging events strategy to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Plan, organize, and host a mix of in-person and virtual events, including workshops, networking sessions, and panel discussions.
- Secure speaking opportunities and thought leadership engagements for our CEO and leadership team at key industry events.
- Build and nurture relationships within the startup ecosystem, fostering a strong, engaged community of founders and investors.
2. Partnership & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with accelerators, VCs, co-working spaces, and startup communities to amplify our brand.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to execute co-branded events and lead generation initiatives.
- Manage referral programs and other creative lead gen strategies to drive high-quality inbound leads.
3. US Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Advise and agree with our Head of Marketing the US marketing strategic priorities.
- Execute the go-to-market strategy for the US, collaborating closely with the core Marketing team to tailor messaging and campaigns.
- Ideate and deliver alongside the core marketing team, targeted marketing initiatives that resonate with US founders, ensuring brand consistency and impact.
- Work cross-functionally with Product and Content teams to localize key materials for the US audience.
- Oversee brand positioning in the US startup ecosystem, ensuring SeedLegals is recognized as a thought leader.
4. Audience Targeting & Growth Operations
- Define and refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for the US market in collaboration with Growth Operations.
- Develop and maintain target lists of high-potential startups and investors to focus sales and marketing efforts.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize outreach and conversion strategies.
5. Sales Enablement & Support
- Work alongside Sales to develop effective outreach strategies and messaging.
- Provide insights on US market trends, customer pain points, and competitor activity to inform sales tactics.
- Support in driving pipeline growth by ensuring seamless alignment between marketing, partnerships, and sales efforts.
- Sign and close key clients and partners to drive business growth and establish strong market presence.
- Experience: 3+ years in a GTM / commercial role within the startup or venture ecosystem.
- Networking Skills: Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with key players in the startup and investor community.
- Event & Partnership Management: Experience running successful events and securing strategic partnerships.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of US marketing strategy, audience segmentation, and content distribution.
- Sales Alignment: Ability to work closely with Sales teams to support revenue-driving initiatives.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to drive decisions and optimize growth strategies.
- Startup Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US startup landscape, particularly in NYC and major hubs.
- Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), event management platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Compensation:
SeedLegals offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
Salary range: $90k - $120k
