Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduling Specialist I to manage patient appointment scheduling and related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations while matching patient preferences with physician-specific guidelines
• Collect and maintain accurate patient registration, demographic, and insurance information to ensure timely payment for services
• Provide one-call resolution for patient inquiries and process multi-channel messages related to appointments and referrals

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Proficiency in computer use, including navigating multiple programs and monitors
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and assist with training new hires
