Senior Full Stack Engineer for LibreMax Capital

At Satellite, we are looking for a driven, smart and ambitious Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the team of our US-based Partner - LibreMax Capital!

LibreMax Capital is a New York-based asset management firm specializing in structured credit and asset-backed finance. Its investment strategy focuses on a variety of securitized products, including residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), and collateralized debt obligations (CDOs). • Front-End Development: Develop user-friendly, responsive interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred, but Angular or Vue are acceptable).
• Data Visualization: Implement AG-Grid for data grids and utilize tools like Hi-Charts, Plotly, or similar plotting libraries for displaying financial data and analytics.
• Back-End Development: Write clean, maintainable server-side APIs using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks).
• Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize SQL queries across MySQL, SQL Server, and Postgres databases.
• Data Processing: Work with large datasets and implement ETL processes to handle data ingestion, transformation, and storage on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Financial Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain trading, risk management, and reporting systems used within the financial sector.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure high-quality software delivery and exceptional user experiences.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure that software is thoroughly tested, with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript with experience in modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with AG-Grid, Hi-Charts, Plotly, or similar tools for data visualization.
• Strong knowledge of Python, with experience in web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries across relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in developing trading systems, risk management systems, or financial reporting platforms is a strong plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and managing data storage solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and batch computing in cloud environments.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
