Risk Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Associate to review credit profiles of potential borrowers and approve credit.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing risk assessments on potential commercial borrowers using various information sources
• Evaluating compliance requirements including OFAC and KYC screening
• Employing a proprietary credit policy to assign borrower ratings and credit limits

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial financial services, preferably in credit risk
• 3+ years underwriting commercial borrowers
• 2+ years in a transactional operations environment with high-volume processing
• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, computer science, or related discipline
• Experience with US commercial lending practices
