DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION

The Risant Health Value-Based Care Platform is a tech platform that enables community members to access and understand value-based care as a wholistic endeavor. The VBP will deploy solutions supporting value-based care in multi-payer, multi-provider environments that are simple for clinicians to use and enable a positive experience for consumers to think about and act on their health.

POSITION SUMMARY

The VBP Operations Associate will play a critical role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the VBP function within Risant Health. This position is responsible for developing and managing project plans for key initiatives, coordinating resources and tasks to ensure successful project execution, continuously monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and objectives. Acting as a versatile team member, this role will provide support across multiple operational functions, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and facilitating effective communication among teams. Overall, the VBP Operations Associate is essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient operational environment that supports the organization’s strategic goals.

The VBP Operations Associate will report directly to the VBP Leader and will also work closely with the VBP leadership team. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities and tasks of the VBP Operations Associate include but are not limited to:

Risant Health VBP:

• Provide support for day-to-day Risant Health VBP, including collaborating with other functions within Risant Health, Kaiser Permanente, other Risant Health organizations, and external vendors to facilitate effective communication and support for Risant Health VBP.

Special project support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage project plans for initiatives within the VBP function (e.g. launch of new tools and capabilities, preparation for offsites).
• Own execution of tasks, including quick-turnaround items and coordination of resources as necessary, to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Monitor progress of projects and initiatives, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Co-develop and maintain trackers and score cards for operational team success.
• Act as a versatile team member, providing support across various operational functions as needed, including troubleshooting issues and facilitating communication among teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business operations, with a proven track record of managing projects and driving operational efficiency, preferably in a startup environment.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-making at higher organizational levels.
• Familiarity with health provider and/or payer operations (particularly back and middle office functions)
• Familiarity with corporate support functions and services, including HR, finance, and IT, to effectively navigate and leverage these resources in support of operational initiatives.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry.

Education 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and manage project plans, coordinate resources, and ensure timely execution of initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A versatile team player who can adapt to changing priorities and support various operational functions as needed.

This position has a preliminary projected target base salary of $89,167.- $117,700. which is subject to change as additional market data is acquired. The position is also eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive wellness, time off, savings and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees at Risant Health.
