Description:
• Seeking a detail oriented Virtual Data Entry Clerk to manage accurate input, verification, and maintenance of data sets for clients in ecommerce, healthcare, and finance.
• Offering both part-time and full-time options, flexible shifts between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
• Collaborate with remote teams to ensure critical information is captured efficiently and securely.
• Provides structured training, clear performance metrics, and growth opportunities into more advanced data functions.
• Enter transactional records, customer details, survey responses, and inventory logs into secure database systems following standardized procedures.
• Conduct daily audits on newly entered data to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity rates above 99%.
• Flag anomalies or incomplete fields, and coordinate with supervisors to correct and update records.
• Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks, corrections, and time spent per project in our time tracking software.
• Assist with bulk data migration: extract, transform, and load (ETL) data under guidance from analysts.
• Uphold data privacy policies and encryption protocols during handling and transmission of sensitive information.
• Suggest process improvements and potential automation solutions to accelerate data entry workflows.
Requirements:
• Typing speed of at least 55 WPM with strong attention to detail for repetitive tasks.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, sorting, simple pivot tables) and Google Sheets.
• Comfort learning proprietary data management platforms and completing training modules within 30 days.
• Strong communication skills to clarify requirements and escalate unresolved issues.
• Self-discipline to meet daily and weekly output targets in a home office environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certification is a plus.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
