The Information Technology Services (ITS) department has an opening for a Video Conferencing Coordinator. In this role you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting video conferences and virtual meetings using Cisco Webex. This role ensures the seamless operation of online meetings, assists users with technical issues, and provides logistical support for scheduling, security, and post-meeting follow-up. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all Webex-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues and optimizing the virtual meeting experience for all participants. You will also be the point of contact on behalf of ITS, conducting system maintenance and handling any new deployments city employees require.

Responsibilities include:
• Install, maintain, and support Webex video conference systems and rooms with advanced AV integration.
• Act as a consultant and City liaison with third party vendors for AV / Webex deployments as requested by City personnel.
• Support technologies through the council chambers and assembly rooms.
• Assist the Senior Video Conference Coordinator with additional responsibilities, such as TV replacements, tracking metrics of adoption around Webex, and working with third party vendors for AV integrations and deployments.
• Other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
The temporary position will be funded through June 30, 2026, and will be reviewed in a future budget cycle to determine if the position will be extended, ended, or made regular. The temporary position will have benefits but will not earn city retirement credits or participate financially into the city’s retirement program. If the successful candidate is a current City employee, all benefits will still be applicable and the employee will still contribute to their pension. Temporary positions are not covered under civil service rules, and thus employment is considered ‘at-will’, and employees may be separated at any time.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Knowledge of Cisco portfolio for meeting gear (Room Kits, Desk Pros, cameras, etc.).
• Familiarity with other products responsible for AV integration (including but not limited to Audinate for Dante Domain Manager, AV vendors such as DJi, Sennheiser, etc.).

SALARY

Pay Range: $80,454.40 to $118,872.00/annually.

Hiring Range: $80,545.40 to $107,806.40/annually.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Three years of responsible experience in technical systems software (i.e., data base management telecommunications and operating systems).
• Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
• All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
• This position is subject to Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background standards. Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment must be fingerprinted and will have their fingerprints used to check the Criminal History Records of the State of Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Any records returned will be reviewed to determine the candidate suitability for the job.
• Some positions require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
• Two years of experience supporting the Webex platform, including but not limited to events, meetings, webinars, and more.
• Two years of experience supporting the Webex control hub.
• One year of experience performing AV / Webex projects.
• One year of experience supporting AV equipment.
• Certification in Cisco, preferably a CCNA at least or have passed the 500-701 VID or 500-710 VII.
