UPS Store Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary:

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn all aspects of the store’s operations. You will assist customers with a wide range of services including shipping, packaging, printing, graphic design, and more. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible hours, including some weekends, offering a fast-paced, supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
? Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with shipping, packaging, passport and notary services, mailbox rentals, document shredding, copying, and large-format baer/sign printing.
? Use POS systems, computers, and software applications to process transactions, manage inventory, and maintain customer records.
? Operate copy, binding, and laminating equipment, ensuring high-quality outputs for customers.
? Sort and manage incoming mail, ensuring proper delivery to customer mailboxes.
? Assist with opening and closing the store, including generating sales reports and cash handling.
? Manage the design and printing of custom graphics and large-format projects, including using Adobe Suite, Publisher, and Photoshop.
? Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and policies.
? Cross-sell and up-sell products and services to meet customer needs and store goals.
? Assist with key-holder responsibilities and support other team members when needed.

Qualifications and Experience:
? High school diploma or GED required.
? Prior retail or customer service experience, preferably in a similar environment such as shipping or printing.
? Experience using POS systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Publisher, Photoshop).
? Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
? Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
? Able to work independently and as part of a team.
? Ability to lift 40+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
? Valid driver’s license required for moving and parking trucks.
? Previous experience in graphic design or print services is a plus, but not required.
