Transportation Planning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineer/Planner Modeler with transportation planning and modeling experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and run travel demand models and other transportation analysis modeling tools
• Analyze modeling output results for traffic impact studies and other related projects
• Prepare traffic studies and develop area-wide measures of effectiveness for technical reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, civil engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related field
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in transportation planning with a focus on travel demand modeling
• Knowledge of recent developments in travel demand forecasting
• Awareness of current transportation trends and issues
