Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Transmission Planning Engineer to design and evaluate future transmission needs and renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate to create analysis tools and models for renewable energy and transmission projects
• Perform powerflow, production cost, and economic analyses using various software tools
• Coordinate with other teams to develop identified transmission projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in power systems and transmission planning
• Experience with powerflow and production-cost software (e.g., PSS/E, PowerWorld)
• Programming skills in Python
• Understanding of utility planning processes and NERC Reliability Standards
