Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and perform system software updates for IBM System Z Operating systems
• Schedule and coordinate operating system testing and implementation while communicating prerequisites and post-install procedures
• Provide on-call support for z/OS systems and maintain technical procedures and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or College Diploma
• Experience with IBM Mainframe z/OS Systems Programming
• Knowledge of SMP/E work and legacy Windows Server support
• Ability to establish test and implementation plans for operating system upgrades
• Experience in maintaining documentation systems for software support
