Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Medicare Part D members and providers with pharmacy benefit requests
• Handle prior authorization appeals and denials, making decisions on claims
• Ensure accurate case setup, clinical review, and outreach to providers for additional information

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior authorization experience at a PBM
• Active Pharmacist license
• Able to work independently and productively in a data-entry driven role
• Comfortable using multiple computer applications and dual monitors
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D required
