Texas Licensed Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Jumbo/Non-QM Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Jumbo/Non-QM loans and manage 45+ initial underwrites per month
• Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status
• Assist with training needs of other mortgage positions and maintain conversation logs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years underwriting experience with Jumbo and Non-QM loans
• Recent experience underwriting Non-QM loans
• Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
