Texas Licensed Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensing & Credentialing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of out-of-state licensure and renewals for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Maintain an organized tracking system for license applications and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a liaison between APPs, internal departments, and state licensing boards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credentialing, licensing, or healthcare administration
• Preferred 5 years in medical staff office or credentialing roles, especially with APP/NP/PA licensing
• Strongly preferred experience with multi-state licensing and virtual care support
• NAMSS certification (CPCS or CPMSM) is a plus
