Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, American Sign Language (9-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual American Sign Language lessons for grades 9-12
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor learning and inform instruction
• Collaborate with curriculum specialists and other teachers to enhance the American Sign Language curriculum

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A bachelor's degree is required
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned
• Minimum of two (2) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience teaching a range of levels within American Sign Language
• Residency in the state of Texas is required
