Job Summary

A company is looking for a Marathon Activities Technical Designer (Mid to Senior).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, build, and maintain encounters and activities for competitive and cooperative play
• Implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and content, including AI spawning and difficulty systems
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to solve design problems and create meaningful player experiences

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a level, scripting, or systems designer for a large-scale live-service game
• Strong understanding of systemic philosophy and decision-making in design
• Programming knowledge in one of C/C++/C#/Java/Python; a technical degree is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership experience for senior-level candidates
• Ability to define and maintain production pipeline, process, and workflow
