Surgical Coder Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Account Representative III - Surgical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for coding and health information management operations within the revenue cycle
• Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues related to accounts receivable and cash flow
• Maximize patient experience and revenue through strategic re-engineering of revenue processes

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management desirable
• Health Care Certification (e.g., CHAM, CHAA, FHFMA) is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of professional fee revenue cycle or healthcare finance/operations preferred
• Experience with payors, providers, and hospitals is preferred
• Previous healthcare experience in revenue cycle operations and HIM preferred
