Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Designer 3 in the Nuclear Power sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural physical layout drawings in a 3-D model as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team
• Design structural supports and foundations while troubleshooting various structural design issues
• Utilize 3D modeling software to generate design schematics and coordinate detailed design phases

Required Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree in drafting, or a high school diploma with 1+ years of drafting coursework or equivalent technical experience
• Four or more years of detailed design experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design drawings
• Proficiency with design software tools for 3D plant layout models
• Experience reviewing structural layout drawings for steel frames, concrete members, and foundations
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and design teams across various disciplines in the power plant design process
