Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Licensing Counsel to assist with regulatory and compliance matters in the fintech and cryptocurrency sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and renew state money transmission licenses across multiple jurisdictions
• Respond to regulator inquiries and requests in a timely and thorough manner
• Monitor and evaluate regulatory change and incident notices to ensure ongoing compliance

Required Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of experience with regulatory licensing and compliance matters in the payments industry
• Prior experience with fintech and payments companies is highly desirable
• Familiarity with unclaimed property compliance is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
