Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Medicare Appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to Medicare appeal nurses
• Offer after hours and weekend coverage on a rotational basis to ensure timely appeal responses
• Collaborate with Medicare Quality and Compliance and provide ongoing education regarding Medicare policy and appeals

Required Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience in a Health Care Delivery System
• Medical License (MD) or (DO)
• An active state medical license without encumbrances
• Board Certified in an ABMS Recognized Specialty
