Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Technician Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and authorize prior authorization pharmacy requests from prescribers using clinical criteria
• Communicate prior authorization criteria and pharmacy benefit coverage to relevant stakeholders
• Serve as a mentor and training resource for team members while ensuring adequate staffing for client service levels

Required Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma
• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
• In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and medical terminology
• Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office applications
