Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review commercial transactions, including sales and vendor agreements
• Establish and implement formal policies and procedures for contract lifecycle management
• Provide legal advice on compliance matters and coordinate with legal counsel in litigation strategies

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
• Minimum 2+ years of post-admission legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house counsel preferred
• Experience in domestic contract drafting and negotiation, familiar with UCC and international sales contracts
• Demonstrated ability to resolve legal issues effectively and provide strategic legal advice
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently across a global organization
