Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Query.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on goals spanning a 6-18 month timeframe and define the roadmap for the next 12 months
• Write well-tested, production-ready code in C++ and research state-of-the-art query systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams, mentoring team members and advising management on technical decisions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data management systems
• Experience with building production-level code with a large user base and robust design structure
• Degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with large code bases written in C++ or another systems programming language
• Passion for database query engines with hands-on or academic experience in the database domain
