Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer to design and implement scalable security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement security solutions focusing on automation and user-friendly security
• Build tools for self-service and performance to identify and mitigate application security risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security maturity and ensure compliance with HIPAA

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Staff Security Engineer in a high-growth startup environment
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure) and modern security frameworks (OWASP, NIST)
• Diverse experience with application security tooling including code review and penetration testing
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar)
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, compliance, and leadership teams
