Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist, Ads.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic impact across ads domains by owning complex problem spaces such as auction optimization and targeting
• Develop advanced models and frameworks to enhance the ad platform and marketplace health
• Translate ambiguity into measurable outcomes by defining core business metrics and designing methodologies to assess impact

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline
• 10+ years of industry experience for M.S. holders; 6+ years for Ph.D. holders in applied science, data science, or machine learning engineering roles
• Demonstrated expertise in auction design, targeting, measurement, or ad creative evaluation
• Advanced proficiency in statistical programming (Python or R) and SQL
• Strong understanding of experimental design, causal inference, or A/B testing methodologies
