Job Description:
As the IT Due Diligence Consultant and Lead for our major Private Equity partner, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for managing IT due diligence projects, ensuring effective communication with C-suite executives and private equity stakeholders, and delivering comprehensive due diligence reports.
Key Responsibilities:
? Due Diligence Leadership: Take a leadership role in conducting IT due diligence for investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, serving as the primary point of contact for private equity partners.
? C-suite and PE Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and private equity partners, effectively communicating technical insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
? Due Diligence Process Management: Manage the end-to-end due diligence process, including scoping, planning, data collection, analysis, and report generation.
? IT Evaluation: Assess the target company’s IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and cybersecurity, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks.
? Financial and Operational Analysis: Analyze the financial and operational implications of IT systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
? Due Diligence Reporting: Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports, summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations, and presenting them to private equity partners and C-suite executives.
? Risk Assessment: Evaluate IT-related risks and opportunities that could impact the investment or acquisition, proposing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance value.
? Data Security and Compliance: Assess data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, highlighting any potential issues or areas of non-compliance.
? Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on IT-related matters, helping private equity partners make informed investment decisions.
? Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, financial, and operational experts, to ensure a holistic due diligence process.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
? Proven experience in IT due diligence consulting within the private equity sector, working with C-suite executives and private equity partners.
? Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
? Demonstrated experience in managing due diligence processes from inception to reporting.
? Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance best practices.
? Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
? Proficiency in due diligence tools and technologies.
