Special Assets Portfolio Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Assets Portfolio Officer responsible for managing high risk and non-performing loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high risk and non-performing loans and develop workout strategies
• Lead borrower communications and collaborate with legal counsel on formal notices
• Evaluate borrower performance and maintain accurate loan servicing records

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in special assets or related fields
• Prior experience in commercial loan workouts, collections, and portfolio management
• Strong financial analysis abilities and excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and manage a portfolio
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with the ability to learn customer management software quickly
