About the position

As a Social Media Content Moderator at TELUS International, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the content shared on social media platforms adheres to the established policies and guidelines. Your primary responsibility will be to review a variety of content types, including videos, posts, comments, reviews, photos, and live streaming content. This content may range from graphic and violent to sexual and political, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to upholding community standards. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality while fulfilling your job responsibilities, which includes participating in frequent refresher training to stay updated on correct moderating policies. In addition to content moderation, you will be responsible for adding accurate metadata and tags to content items, identifying and escalating potential risks to relevant teams, and making suggestions for improving efficiency in the moderation process. You will also be required to draw up daily activity reports to track your performance and contributions to the team. This position demands a strong independent work ethic, the ability to self-manage, and a fast-learning capability to adapt to constantly changing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong emotional intelligence and resilience, allowing them to cope with the often challenging nature of content moderation. You will need to perform your duties objectively, devoid of inherent biases or personal beliefs, and maintain an accurate and critical work attitude. Responsibilities
• Review videos, posts, comments, reviews, photos, and live streaming content according to the social network’s policies, workflows, and targets.
