Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter, Small Commercial Workers' Compensation/Commercial Auto.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess medium to complex risks to underwrite and bind new coverage in commercial auto
• Build and maintain outstanding partner customer relationships while achieving profitable growth
• Provide technical assistance regarding policy provisions and participate in risk portfolio evaluations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3-5+ years of insurance experience required, with a preference for commercial lines experience
• 3+ years of commercial auto underwriting experience required; 5+ years preferred
• Aptitude for building strong partner relationships and providing technical guidance
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial auto insurance
