Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) by producing, editing, and managing critical agency documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Writer support for DTRA documents, including reviewing, formatting, and editing
• Conduct research and create draft versions of documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with DTRA standards
• Support the Program Manager in developing and revising correspondence and editorial standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Communications, or a similar field
• DoD Secret clearance or higher is required
• Four years of experience as a Technical Writer or Communications Specialist
• Ability to travel to Fort Belvoir, VA, on short notice
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
