A company is looking for a Senior Production Editor fluent in Spanish to manage the production editorial process for various titles.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the production editorial process from manuscript to final product for Spanish-language titles
• Hires and manages freelance copyeditors, proofreaders, and indexers, ensuring quality control throughout the production stages
• Collaborates with editors, designers, and authors to resolve issues and streamline processes while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in production editorial work, preferably in trade book publishing
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with knowledge of the Real Academia Espa ola's style guide
• Proficient in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• College degree or equivalent work experience
