Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their application platform team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain central platform services and shared code libraries in Ruby and Javascript
• Maintain and evolve microservice architecture, including Kafka and GraphQL APIs
• Support and troubleshoot production systems while participating in Agile planning and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of software development experience, including deployment and monitoring
• 3+ years of experience building scalable, production-quality services using AWS and Kubernetes
• Understanding of data structures and distributed system microservice concepts
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and building AI/ML solutions
