Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backbone Engineer to enhance and optimize their global backbone network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects to upgrade and optimize the global backbone network
• Build scripts and templates for network functions and device maintenance
• Collaborate with senior engineers on network strategy and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• At least 9+ years of experience in backbone or large enterprise network support
• Proven track record with Juniper hardware/software and complex scripting
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP stack and Internet routing/peering
• Expertise in routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and ISIS
• Experience with traffic engineering protocols such as MPLS and RSVP
