Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze mortgage loan documents to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Make independent and compliant loan decisions and document them in Encompass LOS
• Collaborate with processing staff on underwriting deficiencies and respond to audits

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of recent residential mortgage underwriting experience
• 6+ years of overall mortgage industry experience
• Proficiency in evaluating mortgage loan documents for compliance
• Experience with Jumbo loans and manual underwriting preferred
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
