Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Editor to manage the editorial lifecycle of multiple book titles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 12-16 new book projects annually
• Act as the lead editor and liaison for each title, collaborating closely with authors
• Perform comprehensive developmental editing and coordinate with various teams throughout the publishing process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant editorial experience, focusing on developmental editing
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent professional experience
• Extensive knowledge of the book publishing process and related functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with InDesign is a plus
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
